| Our extensive work using ISO/IEC 27001, particularly that in Mauritius (see the Fast Track paper, two pages back) has enabled us to develop a Productised Intellectual Property-led Service (or PIPS for short). This service is significant in that not only Gamma can provide it, but also selected partners of our can as well. This effectively allows us to franchise and thereby mass produce the delivery of this high quality service. | |||
It is also significant in that it is extensible to all manner of management system standards and therefore facilitates the construction of Integrated Management Systems fully in keeping with our research findings for internal control. So far the PIPS embraces information security (ISO/IEC 27001), quality (ISO 9001) and business continuity (BS 25999). A management system is, of course a management capability, supported by documentation and records. That capability is provided through extensive training of the client. The documentation and records supported is provided in hypertext, so that everything is just "one click away". For this component, we are currently using Dreamweaver technology to provide:
