Gamma is an ISO/IEC 27001:2005 / BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered company, Certificate Numbers IS 85916 and FS 30710, specifically certified for the provision of information security consultancy.

Our integrated Management System is intranet based and covers all aspects of internal control.  It is structured in accordance with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wale's guidance on corporate governance.

Our involvement in Quality Systems goes back a long way:

• In November 1991 we were registered as being in compliance with the extant NATO quality standards, AQAP 1
• In February 1995 we were registered as being compliant with BS EN ISO 9001:1994
• In November 2002 we were re-registered as being compliant with BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

We were particularly pleased at our ability to transition from a paper-based BS EN ISO 9001:1994 Quality Management System to an electronic BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System purely through compliancy audits.

We extended the scope of our registration to cover BS 7799-2 in July 2004.  In January 2005 we had our first BS 7799-2 surveillance audit and combined it with our ISO 9001 surveillance audit.  Thus, we now enjoy yet another benefit having an integrated management system, namely one management system, one audit but two certificates.  We updated our management system to comply with ISO/IEC 27001 in fall of 2005 soon after the international version of BS 7799-2 was published.  We were formally certified as being compliant to ISO/IEC 27001 in January 2006.

Since January 2007 we enjoy a joint ISO/IEC 27001 - ISO 9001 audit: the true mark of having an Integrated Management System.
